I have my Outlook Express connected to an IMAP account. It works perfectly, except that I get the "you've got mail" indicator (little envelope on the task bar) even when there are no new messages in the Inbox.
Can anyone figure this one out for me?

Is it showing because you have unread mail somewhere?

Not exactly. If it shows, and then I close OE and re-open it, the envelope doesn't come back. It has to be something to do with hidden folders, I suppose.
Just discovered that it happens when there is a recent post in my inbox which is 'read', but still causes the icon to appear. As soon as I delete the post the icon disappears.
