New VW Camper

Hope someone can help me out here, i was looking at the VW campers the other day and came across a new look VW camper and was wondering if this is ever going to come out? cant remember where i have seen it either so pics would be appreciated, ta folks

I seem to remember they decided not to go ahead with production, but not 100% sure

The Blaupunkt 1965 type 2 bus (the green & white one) on that page looks the dogs bits

The new one does look cool - but that old one is just something else

Ta Ta Kombi.....

I used to drive my sisters in Australia years ago - proper surf bums - Big Bull-bar on the front and Wheels that meant the tyre stuck out about 3 inch over the arches. Great fun - you had to get used to turning the wheel ahead of the corner as the driver sat ahead of the front axle..

The need for ABS and airbags seems like a weak reason to discontinue the Kombi.

Surely ABS could be fitted easily.
Maybe the seating position makes airbags impossible?
