Moto Guzzi Breva 750

Anyone have any experience with this bike?
Off chance, anyone got one they wouldn't mind parting with for way less than it is worth?

I have no experience of them, but I'll bet that:

1. They'll break down a lot, and
2. Fixing them will be the bane of your life.

A friend of mine bough a brand new Guzzi a few years ago and had it stick in first gear because the gear lever return mechanism broke (on a bike with less than 2,000 miles on the clock).

The dealer took an age to find out what the problem was and then couldn't supply the part. The Italian factory was closed, then it was open but they didn't have the part, then it had been shipped, then lost, etc.

Eventually he wrote to Ride magazine and they did a short article about his woes, which persuaded the UK dealer to strip the gearbox from a brand new bike to get the part my friend needed.

He sold it and bought a Japanese bike instead.
