Back in a coupe... - 03/03/2012 21:34

At last! After 18 months of sheer boredom driving a very capable (particularly in the snow last year) CRV, I have changed to this....

New Wheels

It's the 3.0 Tdi Quattro. Spent ages looking for a non s-line with standard wheels, but spec'd up with Mmi High etc. I didn't want an s-line because the suspension is made of concrete and my 84 mile a day commute goes over some appalling roads and my spine isn't up to it!! Ditto silly sized wheels.

Must say it's a great car, lovely place to be in and drives very well, stupidly quick yet if I am sensible I can get 47 mpg on my commute. Reminds me very much of the other coupe, especially 3rd gear (but not the consumption!)!

Edited: for some reason I cannot get the image popper to work, didn't think I'd been away that long!!

'fraid not, picked it up last weekend, took one snap on the phone before it got filthy going to work and that was it!! Going to give it a once over with a grimy rag tomorrow, so I'll try and get some more shots then.

The HTML code to embed a photo in a web page that you used to find on the All Sizes page is now only in the Share menu above the photo, to the right of the Actions menu. We now also include BBCode! (standard message board code)

There are a few cases where the code may not be available: 1) If the photo is restricted. 2) If that person has turned off "Share this" or access to original files.

The direct link to a photo file is no longer shown on the page. Per the Flickr Community Guidelines "pages on other websites that display content hosted on flickr.com must provide a link from each photo or video back to its page on Flickr." Linking directly to the photo file doesn't do this.
