Repairing Alcantara car seat cloth trim

Repairing Alcantara car seat cloth trim - 04/01/2012 16:42

OK, Sod's Law dictates that as soon as we decide to sell our car, a hole appears in the Alcantara on the driver's seat bolster.
It looks like it's due to wear, though everywhere else is fine. I think it's because the seats are quite shaped and the driver has to brush past this location when getting in and out.

Anyway, the point is, does anyone know how to repair this type of thing decently or know who I should ask?

Thanks, Forum Knowledge Keepers UK

Might be an idea to give Bob a shout Jim, IIRC he recently had some re upholstering done for his Coupe.

Thanks Shiny, I'll do that, although the trouble with Alcantara is that it's neither cloth nor suede. Bloody typical...
