Not mine, but it's better than burgundy.

It's an odd colour, but does look much better in the metal - if it's the one that was at Brooklands last year, it is very nice (given location, a good bet)

funny thing here, i know exactly what people are talking about when it comes to seeing the coop in the flesh, about colour that is.even my favourite sprint blue looks a bit crappy in photos. this has occurred to me its the only car that i feel about the colour situation, i mean having to see the vehicle in the flesh to capture the real colour, eh am i making any sense here or have i had too much wine

Chrono Grey, also known as the "lazy painter's colour"

Well, I quite like it!
Still think a sprint blue LE would be better!

Because at the time (1998) Silver was all the rage. Also I would have thought that red would have been the natural choice for a sports car.

the first time i saw a chrone grey, i hated the colour, but since then its grown on me.
trouble is, most people who see the car will only see it for a few seconds, and wont have time for the colour to grow on them.
I'd imagine i'd get pissed off with all the people thinking its finished in primer...........

Hi All
It's actually my Coop for sale! I haven't actually posted it on here yet. Totally agree with the comments re the colour. I think you either love it or hate it. It looks better in the flesh
As Cowboy suggests, I think I pitched it at the right price as a cambelt is overdue and turbo. Feel free to ask anything else, pm or in this thread.
I've been watching your coupe and I'm quite surprised it hasn't sold yet to be honest, looks a nice example and possible a little under priced for an LE even with the work that's needed.

Thanks Countrycruising, I have 2 potentials coming to view at the weekend. Probably hasn't sold yet because I haven't been available for viewing (so poor on my part!). Will post it on Forum later too, as prefer it to go to someone on here that has an interest in Coops!
Yes hopefully it'll be a forum member who buys it, good luck with the sale
