The only thing I can tell from the pictures is that the rear bumper hasn't been completly painted and the drivers seat seems rather saggy.

9 stamps in the service book, 2 previous owners both female, cambelts all done, manifold done, lots of paper work this is what he tells me, has anybody here owned it before it does look sharp. It needs the rear bumper sprayed and the front bumper lip sprayed. but it does look legit

got the dump valve, and induction kit and all the dial surrounds, so got all the cosmetics in place, i asked about the oil pressure when on idle, he said after driving around and parked up on idle at its lowest it comes down to 1.5 bar is this ok?

Re: Any Information Guys Please! - 24/06/2007 14:26

General consensus is that as long as the 20VT doesn't go below 1.5bar you're fine.

Just make sure it rockets up to 3bar once moving.

I'd say it's priced about right. But as we all know, pictures can be deceptive...

You are collecting without seeing Price sounds fine \:\)

Re: Any Information Guys Please! - 24/06/2007 20:59

IMO its priced a little high. I'd be knocking £££'s off it for everything that needs done and if seller mentions the extras I'd be saying I'd rather see a totally standard unrefurbished coupe for the money. Refurbed wheels, spoiler/skirt kits engine mods etc can all be signs of a hidden history of abuse. And is it just me or is that boot lid a different shade to rest of car???? If tyres, exhaust etc are on way out I'd be looking more off it again. Always remember its a limited market. Sellers aren't going to have loads of people knocking down their doors to buy it and a little patience in this game will pay off big time. OK so I spent a year looking (though they are like hens teeth in Northern Ireland)before spending £3000 on Nov 98 immaculate standard 20vt FSH wishbones, cam etc done 53,000 all keys including card, HPI'd. Always try to get the seller to take the hit on depreciation rather than you \:D
