16vt alarm issue

Hi there.

New to the forum, I have just bought a 16vt and I'm having trouble using the alarm. The batteries in the fobs are ok. The alarm is standard. It doesn't function

Any ideas would be most welcome :-)

Hmm. Doesn't have remote locking...central locking with the door lock barrel??? It has seperate alarm fobs too.

Ah must be aftermarket alarm then. The stock alarm locks/unlocks the door at the same time as arming/disarming the alarm, via an IR remote fob.

Oh right ok. I may just whack a new alarm on to be honest after Santa pod next week. At least I know it's done properly then :-). Any recommendations?
