first of all, will a 16valve turbo exhaust fit a 20valve turbo ?

if not, then what would be the best exhaust to get with further mods in the pipeline. I don't want to have to replace it in the future. 2.5 or 3 inch? should i be looking for a system coming right of the turbo, do they generally do that?

I have the full system from turbo back 2.75" all the way and it sounds unbelievably good with the decat $\:#$
