Coloured wheel bolts… - 08/05/2015 16:01
I’m going to be buying some new wheel bolts soon. As I’m looking at Compomotives that will required a centre cap anyway, I’m actually considering doing it all in blue.
I have a few questions:
1. Will they just be stolen on day 1?
2. Will the colour just be ripped off whenever you undo them?
3. At 34 years old, could this be the start of a mid-life crisis?

1. Maybe
2. Yes I would think so
3. Definitely but sod what anyone else thinks!

What size (length) are you going for?
Eper says standard bolts are M12 x 1.25mm x 34mm , but some black bolts I spotted on ebay (# 151439344976 ) which say they fit the coupe are only 26mm thread.
I measured some old, standard bolts I think came off a coupe and the thread was 28-30mm , so now I'm even more confused!

I don't know what size I'd need yet but it sounds like it won't be easy!
