The article has now gone live. I think it's a good article and the photographer took some great shots which show off the great styling. It's good for the Coupe to be inducted into the PH Heroes Hall of Fame.

Good article and pics!

The sentence that starts "A new six-speed manual gearbox arrived in 1998..." is confusing however, and your coolant bottle needs a clean!

One thing I never knew however was Flea's real name smile

Yep I felt proud of the mighty Coupe when I saw the shots the photographer got, I have some more too which were embargoed until the article went live which I think are even better. I just love the Coupe, such a superb car.

Yes my coolant bottle needs a clean, I have a few garage queen's but the Coupe is outside and my 'everyday' car (3K miles pa) so I haven't been too precious, but yes it is on the to do list.

Thanks for the heads-up Joe smile

Wonder who posted it, and moreover, how they got that angle....

unless it was from the top deck of the no.5 laugh

But its windows must have been pretty clean!

I have never paid £600 for a cambelt change. Solo Italia charges £300. I tied to add a comment to this effect but got a message "Commenting has been barred to new members due to recent abuse"???

Hopefully this article will bring the coupe's great looks and performance to a wider market.

Re: Fiat Coupe: PH Heroes - 30/05/2017 12:21

they originally said in that article that the 6 speed box came out in 1999, not 1998. So maybe it was changed due to some comments I made.

However they say that the 8 spoke alloys came out in 1998. To my knowledge the plus wasn't produced until late 1999/early 2000?

also the boisterous torque steer comment? I've experienced real torque steer in much lesser circa 200bhp fwd powered hatchbacks compared to my 350bhp coop. Even know i would called the torque steer minimal at a push.

If there was nothing incorrect in the article then we'd have nothing to complain about wink

A few minor niggles in the article but hey ho;

Enjoyed the read and thought I'd come and say hello for the first time in a long time....

and browse the classifieds laugh

Even if they're not totally correct, all these articles popping up can only be good for coupe values!

'Worst thing about it was the headlights'. At least they can be fixed with HIDs. No cure for the turning circle smile

I'm still holding out for the awesome petrolicious video....... That hasn't been made yet.....

Re: Fiat Coupe: PH Heroes - 04/06/2017 09:34

I think Petrolicious is mainly US so they may struggle to source a car. Would be ace though!

Re: Fiat Coupe: PH Heroes - 04/06/2017 09:37

So why doesn't the club make their own video report? Maybe not a bad idea folks plus it would be fun!

Ashfin Behnia is USA based but has strong middle eastern and European ties. They have done features on all continents, plenty in the UK and France too.

It would be quite amazing to see something like this but with a really nice example of a Coop.

Can you imagine it? love

I reckon this is currently the most professional looking Coop video ever.
