New coupe mats from FIAT website

I was looking on fiat website at work yesterday at work as i am buying some accessories for the Panda. Anyways. . . . Whilst in the clearance section i noticed that they sell mats for the coupe.

Yes, good spot. Those were the origional matts that came out for the 16vs. The later 20v ones are what I am after.

I too saw these mats the other day.

I chucked my original 20v ones out because they were manky. I bought some ones from halfords but found that they weren't sticky so kept moving around.

Very tempted now to get these mats from Fiat, I have to admit they don't look as good as the 20v originals though

And are no doubt exactly what I need for my original 16v... if only the site would work for me. Just getting a blank screen in either firefox or ie.

Must have been the last set, they seem to have gone!

Perhaps someone has them in their 'basket' but not not actually bought them?

The mats I've got might have been part of a group buy, they have a yellow border, but they were beginning to fold in the middle.
I bought some plastic netting from Homebase, about 20 mm grid, and glued it to the underneath for a bit of rigidity.

Of course the driver's one slipped all over the heel pad under the pedals
so then I stuck some Ikea non slip netting on that

But they do have Coupé fountain pens for 20 quid

The mats currently in my 20vt have 'Coupé' embroided down the side in white - I've always assumed that these are not the original mats, can anyone confirm?

Ah, tried again after it announced it had timed out. This time the visa check thing popped up, and order worked.

Edit - I worked out the answer to my question, the ones on the FIAT website are the grey versions of the standard mats

I've just got some. I used to have a set like this before in my old Speed Red 20v. The corner with Coupe written on has a sort of (probably fake) leather effect, but they do like really nice. The new ones will replace the grotty '20v' ones I've got in the current car which I always felt were unworthy as it's a '20vt'. Hope the new ones arrive in time for the Stanford Hall gig!

Strange, my coop doesn't seem to have the turn buttons under the driver's seat which fit through the slots in the front offside mat to keep it in position

If your mat has slots the buttons should come with it as part of the set

C2D in my 16vt the turn buttons were mounted on the floor, are you saying that if you get the mats you also fit the buttons?

Yeah I've only ever bought one set like that for the punto. The hold down thingies had a point with a large oversize thread which just screwed into your carpet.

I've just seen this post and have ordered a set of mats too.
Interesting as I was told by the local Fiat dealer that they were no longer available !

I was going to order some to replace the indentical original ones I still have in the car. They just need a clean an they're pretty perfect so might not bother...
I do fancy some with the Pininfarina logo on? Anyone reccomend any others?

Iv found an ebay seller that does various embroidered badges, they look very nice, and they do Fiat/Brembo/Recaro etc etc logos in full colour, so iv emailed asking a few questions, then i'm going try figuring out a way of applying to the mats ( will test on old ones first ), i'll post my results & pics once iv had a play....

Mine arrived yesterday, but I wasnt in so my mate has picked them up today for me. Shame the car is off the road, oh well, at least they will stay clean.

I will let you know what they are like when i get home.

I'll be buying some too but out all day, so if its Royal Mail delivering it will be easier to pick up at the local depot rather than trekking off 40 odd miles to whatever depot a courier uses!

They were sent by parcel force. I guess they have an arrangment with the post office, i think my "local" PF depot is on the other side of town so its a good job really.

Well, they are a bloody good fit!

I see what people mean with the missing the model variant name, but they have finished off the interior very nicely. Great value for money, I have paid £40 for aftermarket mats (just for 2 mats in the Exxy) in the past and they have been quite poor by comparison. I am very happy with these, especially for the reduced price.

I don't think there is any need for the turn buttons as they seem to be a snug fit, but time will tell (these are included btw).

My orderly just arrived even though I ordered it after the mats!

Er it's more a disorderly, a silly sponge rubbery thing for bashing each other over the head with [unless you're a teacher, watch out Enforcer ]that is supposed to stick together at the ends with a sort of velcro.

The pictures with it all show TWO being used at once

Can anyone confirm, do they have the holes for fixing to the interior floor?

I have the dark green version of these mats with the holes for fixing but they're looking tired and could do with replacing.

We've just had our shipment of these mats in today and will be sending them out as soon as we can: you should receive them later this week.

Ordered two sets as I doubt they'll be available again, I've seen these very mats in a Coupe I viewed last year, they are the same dark grey as the carpet so blend in perfect, unlike my black 20v ones which stand out a bit too much against the grey, makes them look a little aftermarket.

Hopefully they'll turn up soon!

I ordered mine as soon as the thread started and they turned up last Friday.
As Spee mentioned there the same dark gray as the carpets, which is strange as the originals ordered when the car was new were black !!
Still they look great and the quality of the carpet used on the mat is really good.

Arrived today and taken back to parcelforce depot 40 mins away as not in. Doh!

Mine arrived today I placed my order on bank holiday monday and heard absolutely nothing since the order confirmation email. I sent them an email yesterday asking where they were and I fully expected to get an email back saying that my card had been refunded due to the mats being out of stock but just as I was on my way to work they arrived! I'm very happy with the quality of them as my '20v' branded original had holes in them and looked scruffy. The colour was also a pleasant surprise - nice dark grey, infact much darker than the photo on the Fiat website showed them to be.
They also came with the buttons! Speaking of which I now have a spare black button (one of my originals was missing from when I bought the car) so if anyone needs one then PM me and I'll post it out F.O.C.

Well I came home to find a potato sack had been kindly collected my Mrs Barnacle from the post office. Feeling hungry, I dived in... imagine my disappointment when I discovered some idiot had filled it with carpets!

Ha ha yes mine came in a 'tater sack. Reminded me of the packaging Willy C's cereal pellets came in. I miss that little fella.
The matts in that pic I'm not sold on, the coupé writing isn't in the right font! Only a small detail though I guess and still a bargain.

Well I find the accelerator a bit high on a long run [more comfortable on my 16vt] so I've put the new set down first and the black ones with the border on top.

Same place those mats were - still pricey for a standard looking pen IMO but if your a collector..........

I wouldnt worry, it STILL moves around and affects the clutch/throttle pedal, annoying ha!

I know exactly what you mean i think the mat was made too big for the drivers side, italians..... still, you wouldnt get that kind of 'flaw' in an audi....(yawns)
