Mangoletsi Sticker - 14/01/2015 15:11

Should I peal it off?
Its been stuck there 18yrs as they supplied car from new.
It kind of adds some originality.

Its a well-known dealership, but not particularly highly regarded

personally, I don't like their stickers - way to big.

having said that, if I was chasing originality, I'd be happy to keep the more usual rear window sticker, or the original dealer number plates

the problem you may have is that the Broomie paintwork underneath the sticker will be more yellow than the surround - Broom Yellow fades quite a bit - on this basis alone, I'd leave it

Heh.

When I got mine I told them I would not accept it with any dealer stickers on.

Don't see why I should advertise for them.

first thing I did when I got my coupe was take the mangoletsi stickers off the rear window and bootlid but I still have the number plates as a second set if needed .

I've got a big Perry's sticker on on the inside of the rear screen. It is old and faded and cracked, and I dread trying to get it off.

Any advice?

^ peel as much off as possible. carefully use a stanley blade as a scraper to clear more residue if needed.
then the fun bit - squirt sticky stuff remover (yes, really, thats what it is called!) and leave to soak. the it wipes off done so many times on old, faded window stickers, yet to be beat!

(about £7/can from that orange and black logo'd car parts place)...

Or if you don't fancy going shopping, this stuff works equally as well, and is marginally better value and I found it slightly better than the "sticky stuff remover" tried both, both good smile
