I was informed last night of the very sad news that Rob, (aka Tweenierob), died in a car crash on Saturday afternoon. A number of Coupe owners will have met him over the last few years (via Perfect Touch), although his greatest talents and passion was for the Skyline scene where he achieved a tremendous following. Very sadly another lady died in the crash, and the driver of the Skyline is in a critical condition. My condolences to all involved, especially family and friends. BBC news story

This happened round the corner from me and I drove past the scene this morning. There was a couple with a young kid placing flowers on the railings.
Could've been me and my family they met quite easily, scary.
The local rumour is that they were doing silly speed whilst live mapping. I do hope that wasn't the case and I stress it is a rumour only.

If the rumours are true this story would just go to serve my views to the use of public roads. The sole reason I dont use the roads as a playground is the fact I could not live with myself knowing my actions had killed an innocent person. Sends shivers down my spine.
I hope the accident was something that was purely that, with all parties driving at sensible speeds.
Horrible.

I know some on here had there coupes mapped by him and I thought I should share the sad news that Rob died yesterday as a passanger in a car accident in Harlow in a head on collision with a corsa, the lady driving the corsa also died
unfortunatly I don't have much more detail than that and i'm not sure that this is even the correct section

I have just heard about this from another forum member. I had my car mapped by rob several times and he did a great job every time. He was clearly very passionate about performance tuning and really knew what he was doing. A very professional guy.
A very sad loss to his family. My condolences to his family and that of the other woman involved.
