We could take away the head start times, and make people carry weights like they do with the horse racing then Steamer would be even with us.

Only problem I foresee with that is actually getting ten adult cow's of various sizes, might need a heavily pregnant one for Kelvs kart then getting them into the karts, mmmm

Hey guys, just wondered about the traffic on the Loch Lomond road (A82) up to the Drovers - bearing in mind it will be the last day of the Open Golf? OK, the keen ones will have got up early and gone, but I bet there's still extra traffic.

Any thoughts?

Ronnie informed me last night about possible traffic with the golf competition.

Like you mentioned, its most probably a case of timing. The bulk of our driving will be done after lunch on the east side of the loch anyway so hopefully it won't be too much of a problem for us!

Alternatively (if things get really bad on the way to Drovers) we can take the route through Helensburgh (A814)..but its a longer route adding aprox. 30mins to the travel time.

Right..slight change of plans to our route guys. With concerns about traffic along the A82 because of the scottish open near Luss, how bout we take it through the coastal route of Helensburgh (A814) and turn off at Arrochar towards Tarbet (A83)to meet back the A82 again? Let me know what you guys think.

That's the road we went up last time. It was very narrow, twisty and bumpy. Saying that, I'm not overly bothered which route we go....
