Remember you`ll need resistors for the indicators unless you want to look like a mobile disco at night . Baz

hm ok thanks chaps..
reading around the only solution seems to be to add a relay into the circuit as a resister would only add more current..
There is still the issue of motorway driving at night, which could be a safety issue. and make it look like there is a fault on the vehicle and grab unwated police attention.

i have never had a problem from the police with mine and it passed the mot fine too. it just looks like another tail light, when the brakes are pressed it gets brighter. just acts like a stop tail light.

Maybe it's just one of those things people only post when they notice it. Mine don't glow, other than when breaking. Strange...!

I was going to try putting a pair of ordinary filament bulbs back in at either end of the strip to get rid of the glow . Just need to see how different they are in brightness/colour . I`m pretty sure that when I was swapping the bulbs it wasn`t until I changed the last one over that I got the glow. Baz

Spot on Baz..
This is indeed true, if even one filament bulb is left in, the dim glow will not appear. I will do the same and see how it goes.
Seems the easiest solution at present.
