Just to update my experiences with this chip: the car passed the MOT yesterday with the chip fitted and no difference to emissions thanks to the cat.

stan, quick question on that, i'm also running the chip, and i have a stianless cat back exhaust from power italia, will this make any difference to emissions?

what exhaust do you have on yours?

luckily my mot isnt due till december...

i had an MOT done running the chip and my emissions were very very low in fact almost zero at idle. . . which was interesting

I've got a stainless steel Cybox cat back system (which the tester fell in love with! ) and it made no difference, which it shouldn't as the cat does all the work.

im running totally standard

there is hope for mine yet then!

Unfortunately not, the VIS is an OBDII compliant ECU and cannot be opened and chipped. In order to update the ECU it requires a memory reflash, so this does require the car to be with me. The benefit of this is that you will receive a custom map for your car, as while I have the car I will always fine tune accordingly!

I've noticed that you have a chip for 2.0 20V VIS model.
I just bought one with 84.000km from Italy with original copies of services from Torino/Ferrari.
The car is now on a respray becvause the bumper has been damaged and next step is main service (cambelt, oil..etc.)
But I've like to fancy myself a new chip.

So I can't come to your workshop because I live in Slovenia, I was thinking if you can sell me the chip and send it overseas...

And please send me details of performance gain, and how much it costs, and if it's even possible for me to use this chip...
