Is this badge simply stuck on and easily removed if heated up with a hair dryer and removed or had it got pegs on the back that fit into holes in the body? cheers

I'm sure he just wants to remove it because it's old and faded. He'll be replacing it with a new factory fresh one, no doubt. If he doesn't then it's

I used fishing line under mine, then cleaned the area with T cut and some polish.

Of course, silly me. It.s just I have nightmares about people trying to deny the coupes heritage and (dare I say it) sticking on ferrari badges . Thanks Alan ,now I can relax, close my eyes and dream of opening a packet of factory fresh badges. MMmmm they smell sooo good Was thinking about a Cossie badge for mine, lol. I took mine off for a cleaner look, not because I aint proud of it. Very gentle prising with a sky viewing card, and a bottle of Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover. Gradually dissolves the adhesive, and doesn't damage the paint in any way. Gets rid of the adhesive that gets left too. Patience is the key, don't just try and rag it off. Depending on the age of the car, you may also notice the area aroung where the badge was will have faded compared to where the badge was.

Yes, I found tiny overspray and lacquer on the rubber's of the rear window when looking at the peel on the rear panel.
Respray is soon but no rear fiat badge will be returning.

I removed mine cos i think they look cheap and tacky.
I also like the anonymity that removal brings.

Yes, I dream of the day when someone posts asking how to remove a bodykit because they realise that you can't add class with a couple of bits of plastic. Less is more and all that.

Did mine using a hair dryer and then used dental floss, nice and easy! Did mine exactly the same way - took less than 5 minutes. That was 2 years ago and I've finally saw the light and am fitting a nice, new one as soon as I can find one at the right price.

tar and glue remover is by far the best way to remove badges (IMO), they just fall off, with no paint damage.
used to use them when i worked for toyota at the import centre (for all new cars entering UK), if someone had stuck on the wrong badge, or had it in the wrong place thats what we used to use.
