Actually, to be realistic, my wife gets home at about midnight on Saturday, so I don't think it is a goer for us. Just tell me again - which pub is it at and what time you plan to be there for lunch, just in case? Is it still Four Crosses for three o'clock? I'd rather wait until Mistress can come too, so that Mistress, Theresa and my wife can have a fight in the carpark over me - or about who is going to take responsibility for me after next weeks appointment, anyway.

Really sorry guys for not being able to make the meeting. Well done Karl for your efforts. All Italians were due to pick up the car last weekend but one. Ran out of cash and have tried to get time to fix the alternator but with the weather ..... : [
Just seen the beeb's weather report and it looks nasty. Hope it stays fine for you guys.

I'm too hung over to trawl the six pages, what time is the meet starting, where is it, what's happening? please I know exactly how you feel today pinin! The meet will be at 12 o'clock tomorrow in Tesco Bangor's car park (it's pretty big, but we should be able to find each other - amongst the multitude of Coupes that are there permanently!). Tesco's is just off the A55 (Junction 10 - signposted to Bangor/Caernarfon). You'll need to turn right towards Bangor at the roundabout which is at the bottom of the slip road, and then follow Caernarfon Road for a couple of hundred yards towards the next smaller roundabout - where you will need to turn right as Tesco will now be on your right hand side (you can't miss it - it's pretty big!) - then just follow the road to the car park area. We're then going to drive to and around Anglesey, have a couple of stops en route, go for a pub lunch at 3 o'clock, and then carry on with the drive - you'll have to check with cowboy tomorrow about later events e.g. the barbecue/stay over scenario, as the weather doesn't look too clever according to the forecast - so bring a coat/brolly! See you tomorrow!

I'm OK for tomorrow or any weekend now that I've got them off permanently. I'm also aware that Cowboy has put a lot of time and effort into tomorrow so...

That's the spirit Karl - we could always do tomorrow AND next Sunday to please everyone? We could even swap stories about how high the water came up to on our coops!

Yeah - I'm still game for tomorrow - OK, the weather won't be great, but the forecast I saw said it would be (admittedly heavy) showers, but there might be some clear patches?? Anyway, I've valeted the coupe now & want to show it off - well at least until the rain washes the wax off! Got my camera ready, rain repellant on the sreen, my road angel updated, my Puma Ferrari racing shoes in the car (with the Alpine stars gloves!) & a rain coat, so am prepared for a bit of a meet & a drive - hell, it won't be raining in the pub!! I'm bang in the middle of Anglesey as I write, and it's clear at the moment - there's only been light showers today (no flooding - yet!), although a local farmer told me earlier today that we will get heavy rain overnight. Thanks again to Karl for organising this meet - we can have a follow up meeting soon - not sure about next weekend, as the forecast I saw looks miserable for the next 10 days or so.... I don't blame the guys from further afield (in more flooded areas) from giving this meet a miss - hopefully next time we can get everyone on the original list to turn up.
