I have a flip out head unit with 7" screen that plays dvds but would loike to now pick up a tv signal. Is this possible~? There is a aux in option, what do I need to get etc.

A tv tuner (digital for preference) or a satellite receiver. It will need to provide an output in the form that your DVD player can accept as input (clear as mud?) Might suggest doing some googling for combined ICE TV / DVD. Sort of thing our 'Yank Tank' cousins are very keen on?
