Official tour stickers: just finalised Jim did you look in to have these printed? I was looking at something the other day... we could have them printed on to film the same as fccuk windows stickers. They have asked for the file to email and then they can work out cost and they can also cut to shape. What do you think? I'd say maybe just around tax disc size or slightly bigger.

I just dropped the copy off at the printers today Brian. They are getting printed on to plastic removable film.

Yes Tax disc size. All DG's work and his copy I'm just getting them printed. (inexpensively)

Thanks to Marko, really
The whole thing nearly fell off at the 11th hour due to cost.
One of these evenings I'm amuse you with a potted version of the previous designs - which I went out specially to buy coloured pencils for!
(Really)
But perhaps more interestingly- a potted history of the FIAT badge, which I think was derided early in the thread. I found a very good page showing them all, up to our era...
In fact- dammit! I'll do it now!!
Actually, you are all saved from that. Photobucket doesn't like my iPad tonight, so it'll have to wait...

Good work team... Aye, it's in a wonderful part of the Island looking out over Sleat. A decent car park as well, enough room for all the beasties. Wheels back on my beast, near f@@@ed myself this time. My knees are well shot now, but the shiny circles are looking braw. Had to put on a new continental tyre on the rear. All good now. Happy days......

Restaurant looks great but we'll not be stopping for lunch on Skye as Sofia and Michael arrive on the Friday night by train at Lochailort., and we will meet up with them and my bro and his wife on the mainland and have lunch in Arisaig. So we will see you guys at the Hotel later.

I might actually give the Ferry a miss and go via A87 and Spean Bridge. Though the Ferry does offer a break from driving. Will see how the weather is on the day.

It is nice to go over the bridge too, certainly
But just South of Mallaig, where the ferry comes in, roundabout Mòrar, there are some stretches of the blacktop I'm not going to miss 😜 Indeed Jim. Another stunning part to stop off & look around. I really hope we are fortunate with the weather as the beach comes alive when the sun shines.

I did that stretch of road again recently back in October . I wouldn't say that the blacktop was anything special as far as driving is concerned but the Silver Sands and beaches are fantastic and as Jimboy described perfectly; "come alive when the sun shines". Let's hope it does as I would love to dally there and get some new pics with Sofi and the boys.

Bit off topic, a few years ago I took the wife on our anniversary to a holiday cottage near Kilberry Inn, an award winning restaurant where we dined & wined, luxury, another story for another time.. Anyway less than a mile to the sea there was a hidden beach over looking the Paps of Jura. Absolutely stunning place. Sea eagles & the sound of the water & other wild life just seem to add to the experience. My wife sunbathed on the beach which was deserted, & I swam commando in the water. I will take this memory with me forever. For those who want to visit hidden gems, this is a must..
