Mine is going to be finished these days... actually I am struggling with crackbrained NPT-threads of my new Accusump. After mounting it should be ready for a first breaking in... Juergen

Has everyone given up on building high powered Coupes, as it's been very quiet for a long time now. My build is also finished and we will be posting the results next week

Cheers Nick. Yes the poor old girl is looking a bit tired, but nothing that a respray won't sort out! Just the e85 map left to do and then I pick her up on Thursday.....I can't wait Leighton really has gone the extra mile.

Just the e85 map left to do and then I pick her up on Thursday. Why are you having an E85 map done when it isn't readily available in the UK? I hope we're going to see your power runs on pump fuel too.

How on earth did you find my link dave???? I came across it whilst browsing your FCSS facebook page Jake. I hope you don't mind me posting the link, I thought it was too good not to share Why are you having an E85 map done when it isn't readily available in the UK? I hope we're going to see your power runs on pump fuel too. A couple of reasons; for the France trip later this year (where it is readily available), and I fancy a trip to Santa Pod. I will be more than happy to share both sets of graphs

So you want to try and beat Flea's 1/4 mile time he did on race fuel, with E85?

What fuel pump do you use? When I decided to change to e85 I did some calculations. You will need minimum a 850hp fuel pump to go beyond 600hp. Moreover you will need much bigger fuel lines and a completely changed fuel rail. Original fuel rail has a very restrictive plastic tube inside, which needs to be removed. You will need a high capacity external fuel regulator, please remember: You need about 30% more fuel with e85. And to the end you will need biiig injectors (I use 1200cc). Juergen

Has everyone given up on building high powered Coupes, as it's been very quiet for a long time now. Oh yes indeed, my speciality bruva! As D-day draws near here's a preview of whats to come.... Can't believe that the Coupe tuning scene has gone from strength to strength over the past 2 years. Torque Italia Stage 3 OEM Lambo White GTX'D Quaife'D (Big thanks to Johnny Bigfoot) And the brakes to match. Most importantly managed by the superb Syvecs S6.Est HP 500+ on pump gas. Next Torque Italia Stage 4 GT3076-56trim Quaife'D(Big thanks to Johnny Bigfoot) DTA Engine management.Est HP 500 on pump gas. Alfa GTA 330mm brakes. GTX'D Quaife'D(Big thanks to Johnny Bigfoot) Syvecs S6 Engine management.Est HP 500+ on pump gas. Ahh, one of my favourites. Torque Italia Stage 5 2.5L GTX'D Quaife'D(Big thanks to Johnny Bigfoot) Omex 710 Engine management.Est HP 600+ on pump gas. Making a gut wrenching 297hp @ 3000rpm At 1 bar it tickles 507hp, 410trq @ 6500rpm. much more to come naturally. All will be revealed very soon..... Note: As for Santa Pod, a well know member has smashed the long standing time on pump fuel! LOL!. I will leave that for him to comment

I would like to beat the time Mavric set in the car. No launch or traction control this time....more power though I reckon we should go and smash the 1/4 mile time - without this race fuel/E85 and hoosier nonsense.

Sorry, but e85 is no nonsense for sure. It deliveres up to 20% more power than pump gas and has a much smoother combustion. We test engines at our test stand with special pressure sensor plugs. What you could see is that knocking (which sometimes occurs for short moments, even on standard engines with normal fuel) tends to go to zero, if using E85. Still better, you can leave a really big safety gap when mapping engines. All engines, my friends have mapped by using e85, are still alive and run very very well.
