Hey Andy, sounds like a plan to me! I see there's a turning area at the hospital (thank you streetview)along the A26 I'll park in there. Should see you coming.
I couldn't send you a PM with my mob as you have reached your limit.

Nicely holed up in our hotel in Maidstone. Actually a surprisingly nice town. Full of Argentinian steak Custard will need a bit of a wipe over once we're there after the 200 mile journey, but otherwise is very shiny! See you in the morning folks!

cyborg, you want me to bring a spare slatted grille? It's sitting in the garage doing nothing. You can have it for gratis.
Also has anyone got a spare bonnet strut? Paid for two on Thursday 25th, and was promised them on Tuesday 30th... but haven't materialised. . Anyway, would appreciate a spare strut.

Hi Guys & Galls Thanks for making another first meet for the club at Honnington a memorable one, if not for the weather alone It was realy nice to see a great selection of good looking coops gathered together, in an unusual and fun formation; Thanks for your patience Thunderbox - Chris It was good to see all the usual suspects and some new faces, you now who you all are I'm sorry, but I have no pics to post this time as I spent too much time yackerty yacking with you all, so, I look forward to seeing them all posted up on here shortly. Nice one Mick for the prompt post & pics I hope you all got back home safe & sound? See you all again soon Regards, Ross.

A good day out, despite the downpour from 12.30, which finally eased off just before the ferret race at 2.30 (yes, ferret race, really!). By then, we'd lost about half of the fairweather coopsters Took a few iPhone snaps after the downpour; A few gratuitous coop shots, of the 4 cars left; And for me, the highlight of the day, the 2.30 ferret race Followed by the duck herding; There were some owls, and some hens for sale; Some of the other cars on display; Dave_t unexpectedly showed up; And finally, a random shot on the way home of an angle that caught my eye;

Dave_t unexpectedly showed up; LOL @ Dan! That's clearly not my car ... it's clearly one of those badly put together MR2-as-a-Ferrari type body kits. I'm suprised and disappointed that you couldn't spot the difference, Dan ... I thought you knew more about cars than that. To remind you, so that you can compare and suitably chastise yourself ... here's a shot of my car I took just a few days ago ...

We have ourselves a winner I'm suprised and disappointed that you couldn't spot the difference, Dan ... I thought you knew more about cars than that. I'm learning Dave, these Westfields/Caterhams/MK Indys/Noddy cars all look the same to me I did feel sorry for the organisers who must have lost shed loads of cash!! Did anyone get charged anything 'cos we certainly didn't and feel that maybe at the very least I should sent a donation to Kent Air Ambulance (their chosen charity)? Well, I contributed by gambling on the ferret race later (naturally, on the yellow trap tube), and even though I won, I didn't collect my winnings. My moral conscience is satisfied

RE: Donations, yes, I was asked for a donation upon exit. If any of those who attended feel that they would like to donate follow this LINK and it will take you to the donations page of the Kent Air Ambulance Trust Thanks, Ross.

Like Ross, I was asked for a donation at the exit.
I think it was Kent Air Ambulance who sorted Barnacle out a couple of years ago when he made a Barnacle shaped dent in the ground.
16VT and X1/9 1500
We must all do our part for the planet. I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

What time did you guys stay until? I was in Tunbridge Wells around half one and was going to pop by, but it was tipping down and we saw some Italian cars leaving so thought that seeing as we didn't have wellies or umbrellas we'd have to miss out

I can't believe I missed the Ferret racing and Duck Herding! @Cyborg7, no problems mate, that grille was only sitting in my garage taking up space, so was happy to let you put it to good use. It was great to meet you and your car looked awesome in my rear view mirror when we convoyed there. I just wish I had set up my video camera. It was funny seeing the looks on other drivers etc as 3 coupes sped down the A21.. Oh and your son's guitar looks awesome, though it has sparked my daughter's desire for a Gibson Explorer or Les Paul Standard! @Hovedan, it's always a pleasure to see you mate, Custard is in very good hands and you are truly a mad b@gger as you led the convoy along the A21... Custard looked and sounded awesome. Do the words "speed limit" mean anything at all to you? @Pondman, Ross it was great to meet you, how long have you been fighting OCD mate? (I only say that due to the inch perfect way Ross arranged the Coupes, though I think it's fair to say that we looked the best display). @AndyEssex it was great to meet you mate, I will definitely keep an eye out for your Coupe in future and thanks for the Choccy bar... (Now what was it my mum said about accepting sweets? LOL) @petep, your knowledge of cars is awesome, I really enjoyed walking round looking at the other cars with you, in fact I could happily pick your brains for another week. Needless to say your 16vt looked and sounded awesome. (On the overrun I swear it "barked"). And if no one has seen a de-wipered rear Coupe, seeing Pete's has persuaded me, it really does tidy up the rear end. @Thunderbox, again it was great to meet you, any time you want to swap coupes I am game yours is a credit to you. I hope you do make that trip to Italy and tour round in a rag top. Oh and your wife wants the new Fiat 500 Rag top btw @ST212, great meeting you (and the other half), Looks like your Coupe was a bargain and has a good owner. Remember I want to know how the Canon camera works out. @the man in the other sprinty, it was great meeting you too, though I didn't catch your name. Your car looked great too. Everyone I met was great, the owner of a Zagato bodied Lancia, (Ex-MOD and a bit secret servicey) was another highlight, in fact all in all it was a great day spoiled only by some awful weather. If you haven't been to a Coupe meeting yet, you really should make an effort as it really was a great day.
Happy
