Just a quick post at the moment, I'll post more photos soon. Thanks to all who made it I hope you all enjoyed the day out. I'm sure the public enjoyed the show too. It shows there still love out there for cars with style Thanks again, Ross.
Cracking day Ross, thanks for organising it, nice to meet a few more owners and thanks to everyone that helped with a push It's not often you get to do burn out's in the carfax in sleepy Horsham
Glad to see you all had a Hoot being told to make as much noise and rev's & pops as you like in your own town and to be proud I think we did the club proud too, so well done every one Even Noddy came too, Oh sorry I ment Ploddy Some friends from the day's event Does any get the feeling I like taking pics of Coupes? There were lots of other delicious cars there, just not enough time to photograph them. Oh well that's next year I guess? See you all at Brooklands, Wife willing
Phew, just got back to Bristol now. Second the comments about a very enjoyable day out and great to put faces to names/coupes.
Thanks Ross for the organising, Duncan for the borrow of cleaning products, and Rich for the distilled water for my coolant. Was glad for the humuliation of seeing the sparkling polished engine bays of Ross and Rich compared to my oily mess of a bay in the end. The burning smell didn't make a reappearance in my drive home!
Was also nice to be made an offer for my car, who pointed the chap in my direction when I was having a crafty drink in the pub we'd parked outside?! Nice to know someone else appreciates her, not that I wanted to sell?!
Hope I didn't offend the owner of one of the Lambo Gallardo's when I heard he'd covered 200 miles in the year he's owned it. Think I said something along the lines of what's the point if you don't enjoy it, you don't know it and it doesn't know you!
Look forward to Brooklands in May, may see some of you there.
