What would I be looking to get for my beloved Coop on the following details? .... > 1997 20V NA > 141k miles (service history and documents aplenty - last 3 services @ PowerItalia) > Compression test results good and all similar > Cambelt done under 3 years ago > 3 keys, including red > Recent BRAND NEW headlights > Clifford Alarm > Plus Grille > Decent gas powered bonnet struts > LE sideskirts and front lips > leather seats (in good nick, rears look like they've not been sat in) > Full documentation on just about every receipt I've spent and previous owners have > 20VT wheels in dark anthracite > 3G discs with yellow stuff pads > Recent new radiator and thermostat > Recent new front wishbones > Recent refurbed rear calipers > Barnacle widget > Flea's 20V chip > Re-trimmed (so look like new) steering wheel and gear knob > Bodywork in good condition with usual dinks but nothing major (was resprayed last year) - the shine is stunning as those who came to Spa would agree > Cherished with a view of no expense spared. > Mechanically and structurally very sound. Any thoughts on its value would be much appreciated.

Check out my "for sale" thread for my VIS from last month. I had mine up for £2k and didn't get a single bit of interest on the forum! I'd say £1.5k, advetising it everywhere you can!
How come you're thinkin of selling?!

i also have a 20v na and to be honest i think you would be looking at around the £900-£1200 mark if your lucky, i say this because most people want the 20vt and can get one for around the £1200 mark in decent enough condition. So paying the same for a 20v na would be kind of daft unless thats what the buyer really wants

Thanks for the feedback guys. I fear it would realistically go for less than mentioned - more in line with what Niff priced. Just looking at the 2nd hand market and the prices are just so low, which is fine - the car would sell for whatever. I'm still unsure what to do. I have 4 options... > Sell both Stilo and Coupe, buy a 2.0 Alfa 147 > Sell Stilo, run 20V NA as daily runner > Sell Coupe, run Stilo as daily runner > Sell both Stilo and Coupe, buy a 20VT+ What throws everything into a spin is I do at least 40 miles a day (mon-sat). I love the Coupe and love the community supporting it. But know the Stilo is low mileage, young (2006) and very economical. The Alfa 147s I love but know they aren't economical. Oh decisions! Hard to balance and know what to do What I really need to do is go down to 1 car, as I really don't know whats round the corner and may move somewhere where there isn't sufficient parking for 2 cars.

It's a great car, well looked after. If it's only worth a grand or so then option 2 for me. Keep it, sell the Stilo

Insy - to be honest, you wont get anywhere close to what the car is worth to you, in hard currency.
and to sell it for sub 1k etc is criminal really.
yes you can go and buy a 20vt for a grand etc, but it will be shagged, need work/paint/mot/tax etc.
if you still enjoy it, and dont really want to sell it, then keep it.
imagine how you would feel watching some urchin driving off in it, whilst you stand there with a few hundred quid in your hand - what are you going to buy for that, that will come close to the pleasure of owning a coupe of any variety.
for example - my beloved porto 20v, is currently dead following a head gasket failure, sale value? £250 - £500 tops.
not on your nelly.
she will sit on my drive until i can afford to get it sorted, i would never part with it i dont think.
up to you though mate.

Shinyshoes really hit the nail on the head I would never have sold my NA, the only reason it went was because it was written off. Ide spend near enough 6k on that car inc the price i brought it for. I would never get that back - but i tell you one thing... like your car - It was one hell of a NA!

It's a damn shame these coupes are currently rock bottom, when it comes to values (great if you want to buy one)
Thing is, it's makes the buying public think they are a 'cheap' car (not in the monetary sense) and this does nothing for their reputation!
Buy a mint example, dry store it in a secure lock-up, bring it out in 15 years and see how much it is worth then !!!!...Future classic!

Pains me to say this, but.... The Coupe is going. It's a shame because its pretty bang on how I'd want a Coupe to be. Went out in it today and just loved it. Sadly my head is ruling over my heart and it has to go. I think to maximise value out of it, I'll be selling off/part exing parts individually first. I might well return in time for Spa next year with another Coupe (turbo) but for now I have to realistic about my possessions and have a clear out

I've seen sense. I don't need to sell the Coupe... so, I won't Life suddenly got busy and I decided a couple of weeks ago not to sell. Having watched the F1 at Spa, my mind is totally set - I need to scalp some more turbos next year Long live the NA!

Having bought a house and have spiralling costs, I'm thinking its time for the Coupe to find a new owner. It's not ideal as I love the car but I'm struggling to justify it. Bit difficult to barter with people on jobs around the house about being poverty stricken (for a good price) when I've got 2 cars Given that things have moved on since I last asked the question, would the above valuations be about right still? I'm thinking that if someone came along with 900ish notes, I'd sell. I personally think its worth more, but thinking I need to be very realistic about it - but as this shows: http://www.insworld.co.uk/index.php?pg=coupe1 - it doesn't look like a 900 quid car
