Hi all. My coupe drives beautifully, but if it sits idle, it's not long before it conks out! It idles for a short period then goes off. So sitting in traffic, handbrake on... if i'm not revving the engine, it does turn itself off.

Any ideas what it could be? It drives fine, not spluttering or anything like that.

Kind regards

Matt

What is the idle speed when warm? I'd suspect a vac leak, but it'd be difficult thing to find.

I presume that spark plugs and air filter are relatively new?

Based on what you have stated; check the Idle valve, process well documented on here. Failing that, check the fuel trims
