Elan Valley Run - 28/09/2006 01:32

Ok guys as talked about at the south wales meet,a trip around the Elan Valley seemed popular. As it is getting close to the end of the year and the weather is going against us, I think this should be sooner rather than later. SO.. basically we need a date that suits every one. late october, early november??? G

Re: Elan Valley Run - 06/10/2006 02:18

Re: Elan Valley Run - 06/10/2006 17:35

Can't make it then, but we have a little model of the Elan Valley in Cannon Hill Park here in Birmingham. Do you mind if I take my model Fiat Coupé down there on the day of the meet and be there in spirit?

Anyone else fancy joining me in a parallel mini model meet?

(Sorry, it's Friday - weekend fever)

Re: Elan Valley Run - 23/10/2006 03:49

ok 12 th november is the date we have organised, think the easiest place to meet is crossgates, at the service station, at around 12? is that ok? we can have a cup off coffee or food if people want something to eat. then basically up to rhayder to go around, bassically the elan valley is a loop around , plenty off nice photo opurtunities and interesting things to see. Re: Elan Valley Run - 12/11/2006 15:57

Would have liked to have made this but it's a fair trek for me and SWMBO isn't up for it. Would definitely be up for a meet that's a bit closer.

Have fun

Re: Elan Valley Run - 13/11/2006 15:16

First Report - Excellant run even though only four coupé's made it to the valley itself, with a fifth joining us for coffee at Crossgates. The weather wasn't brilliant but it didn't rain really so that was OK. Should have the photo's on the internet tonight. Good one Genic!
Only downside was that there seems to be a speed limit of 50mph (or slower) in Herefordshire, with drivers required to sit in groups not allowing any fine, italian sports cars to scythe through! And I recall seeing two speed camera's going out but only one the way home!! I hope it wasn't on one of the stetches I was able to open the fella up.

Re: Elan Valley Run - 15/11/2006 18:59

Doubt if I'll be at the Warwick meet as apart from most of Sunday out on the run with you I was in Brum last night for a concert and I'm going to London on Thursday for a concert so I think I'm expected to be around for the family this weekend!
