What colour is this LE?

Just seen this on Auto Trader - only 3 miles from me. Any ideas what colour it is? Even lower miles than Carl's Vinci Grey

Fairly cheap i would think for a rare LE colour is one of the best. Worth a look.

Nah red/black is referring to the interior colour combo

EDIT - oops! Yeah I see what you mean, dunno why they've put RED in the features bit!

Still probably my favorite of all the LEs.. think just down to its rarity.

I'm near Wetherby and Auto Trader says 3 miles from me. North Leeds is most likely. It's not for me though - just had bilsteins fitted to mine, so am not prepared to jump ship just yet.

Interesting colour though. If this had come up for sale in October when I bought my 20VT 6, I'd have had a good look.

Pininfarina Primer me thinks. It's the rarest colour because feck all people ordered it, it's so bad!

Cheers for the concern lads and lassies, but ahead of the game here and do not worry. The history of the car all fits with what I had already seen on the LE list and 'Mikes' posts on those sites, before I even made any contact with the owner.

HPI checked at the weekend and all came back OK and dates/ownership etc. all backed up what I had seen/read/been told.

None as far as my LE register can tell. Che is the only one, and chaser had one for sale back in 2006 (a very high numbered LE).

There is one in Ireland but that was up for sale in 2007.

So yes, very rare.

Yes, but its not uk based, there are a few chrono's in europe.

I saw one at TOTB in 2006, don't know if that was Che or not

The shame of it is that photos don't show the true colour, in the sun the grey has a subtle lilac colour to it.

Hi Alesi, I've not sold mine, and as soon as we get some half decent weather I owe a fair few people some pics. Unfortunately my storage solution whilst the house is done looks like it might have fallen through, so may still end up having to sell the car at some point.

Pleased to report that LE No.105 (Grigio Crono) left Yorkshire this afternoon and is now residing here in Essex.

What a drive home!

A few very very minor blemishes (fully in keeping with a 9-10 year old car). A few minor things to sort out, worst appears to be that the alloys could do with a refurb and the illumination around the temperature settings for the A/C Heater needed an occassional 'tap' to stay lit (easy job to do myself?), but the Wife reckons the first job is a visit to casualty to see if they can do anything to remove my enormous GRIN!

Just relooking through the Fully documented Service History and invoices, every MOT (plus all emmisions sheets, failure sheets & invoices for corrective action, advisory sheets & invoices showing the work done), consumable invoices such as Battery, exhaust, tytes (always P-Zeros), original purchase receipt...... the full history.

Will try and get some piccies sorted as soon as poss (thats of the car, not the GRIN!

One was also sold from a Garage in Stansted last year, went to Ireland I seem to remember.

The one sold from Stansted was mine and it did indeed go to Ireland. It had around 50k on it when I sold it and I would love to have it back!
Now got a red one, but would have gone for the Crono but I missed the ad for the Crono in Yorkshire.

She previously lived just outside Wetherby.

I'm a mile from Wetherby and have never seen it around, what a shame. Probably why the mileage is so low. There are very few Coops in this neck of the woods and one less now.
