Official Hagerty Price Guide - 23/06/2023 18:04

A few weeks ago at a Hagerty event I picked up one of their Price Guides. Surprised and delighted by what I found.

Condition 4 3 2 1
16V £2,100 £5,000 £7,800 £10,200
16V Turbo £3,600 £7,800 £10,900 £15,300
20V £3,200 £7,600 £9,900 £14,300
20V Turbo £4,200 £8,600 £12,500 £17,000

Condition 1 'Concours'
Condition 2 'Excellent' Superb condition:could win a rosette at an annual club event. Almost entirely original or very well restore.
Condition 3 'Good' The majority of classic cars on the road. Nice condition, minimal corrosion, mostly original, driven and cherished by the owner.
Condition 4 'Fair' Roadworthy classic that would pass an MOT and has no major faults.

Nice find, reassuring after a few years back when prices were pretty meagre.

I hope that other insurers will take note of this if the worst happens.

Values have definitely come up since I last looked at the Hagerty evaluation tool just over 1 year ago.

This is good news. And realistic in my view.

The challenge and cost of keeping your coupe in good order only gets ore difficult. Spares for some bits are now basically impossible to locate.

You simply won't find anything with the style or the performance of the coupe circa 90's that isn;t at this type of price....or much higher!

I've insured based on their guidelines- with agreed value protection.
