he's done quite a good job on the front. By far the coops worst aspect for me

There was once a man called Barry
Whose girlfriend wanted to marry

He really liked fast cars
But he didn't make loads working at bars

It was 1993
And he wanted to buy a Ferrari

Shopping around was fun
But sadly he couldn't afford one

Fiat then later released the Coupe
It looked like a Ferrari but not as much to pay

Barry resprayed one red that was originally black
He stuck Ferrari badges onto the front and the back

Told his girlfriend that it was a 355
They got married and he took her for a drive

She realised it didn't sound at all like a V8
And that last week she'd seen one being driven with Fiat badges by her dad's mate

So one night she looked through the car paperwork
What she saw made her want to warp speed out of there like Captain Kirk

She confronted Barry and he told her the truth
She said she could no longer live under the same roof

Barry had lied
Their trust had now died

They ended up getting a divorce
But Barry only had one remorse

Late at night he kept on thinking in his head
'I could have saved respray costs if I'd just bought one in red.'

Judging by the pictures it's poor taste done fairly well.

I've seen much, much worse done to a coupe. At least it's done well and I'd say it's one of the best "extreme" ones. Still wouldn't swap it for my coupe though.

Very good

If I was the seller I'd bring the vehicle out into the sun and give it a wash before taking any pictures.
The work quality does look very good, but I don't like it as it's a mix of Fezza, Brava with a touch of raging bull so a true example of 'Less is more' in my book.

very often I see insertions on subito.it where Coops are taken:

- by night
- very dirty
- at the petrol station
- in the fog
- under the snow
- in front of ruins of houses

I'm curious as to what the black vents are supposed to be under the rear lights.

The rest of it can just about be explained or justified, but I don't see the point of those.

At the risk of controversy, I think that is an illusion that many of the 'de-badged' amongst us are happy to sustain...

I never understood the whole dead badger debadging thing. Why pretend something isn't what it is?

Taking of which, it's very hard to get a real badge these days. Like the original. There are others around, but different! Haven't tried Fiat dealers though. Maybe Alternative Autos?

I think most get debugged de badged as the old ones look manky!!

I got new badges front and rear last year after some paint.

Got em as new old stock off some badging place on eBay...

They are genuine though


When I got the car a couple of years ago, it was missing the rear badge.

Although- I must say, even with the front badge still on, people had literally no idea what the car was. The 5-slash FIAT badge has been totally forgotten in modern culture it would seem.

One day I was stationary at a set of traffic lights in the Coop and there was a guy in a BMW next to me in the other lane.

''I love your Ferrari!'' he said, looking in my direction.

I was having a miserable day and the compliment cheered me up. ''Thank you!'' I said, smiling.

He then looked forward at the road and I saw he was wearing a small Bluetooth headset.

''So when are you taking it to the Nürburgring?'' he asked whoever he was talking to.
