Where does this little carpet should be ?

I just found this piece of carpet in the boot, behind the lights on the right. I don't think it should go here, any idea where it should be ? Maybe under the center console, to cover one of the ECUs ?

This covers the air bag module behind the stereo, pointie corners forward.

Ha! Good luck - everytime I cover up that area either with carpet extensions or airbag ECU cover something goes wrong!

There's a market for quick-release 'racing style' removable carpet extensions, I think!

Certainly in South Edinburgh...!
