after advice from the forum,i have just phoned RE Performance in Bury to sort out a RR check
i think i need to as the coupe i bought has an eprom chip and has been decatted so i dont know how its running
i have been quoted about £120+vat for a full RR check, fuelling, and compression test etc.
is this an ok price and what tests should i be making sure they do to the coupe?
any advice appreciated as iv never had a RR before

A specialist could do the compression check for you.

You want to make sure that they are checking the fuelling, boost, and also checking for detonation with det cans. They should also be giving you a fuelling graph and boost graph after the runs.

For £40 only expect a power run, no diags. I've been to several places that charge £90-£97ph inc VAT. An hour should be all you need.

At the last RR day we got a power and fuelling run (3 runs) and they gave us graphs for power (fly and whp), torque, boost, and fuelling afr all for £40 (inc vat)

But that was a RR day with lots of cars, expect it to be double that if going on your own.

well i want to go to this to meet up with everone and to make sure my car is running ok
i suppose i can get a compression test done whenever and go to this on july 5th cos £40 is a great price
any ideas on how much just a compression test is?
and do i need a specialist or just a decent garage?

I've had 2 compression tests done, they cost me about £10 (doesnt take long)

A decent none specialist garage told me that they were all 150 psi then 6 months later motormech told me that they were 160-165 psi \:\?

They good.... that's all I need to know \:D
