As I've said in the wanted section, I have flights to London tomorrow, I was going to pick up a GTV V6, but that's fallen through, I could still use the flights if there's a decent coupe to be had in the London area, I've spotted the 2 cars below on autotrader. I'm looking for a standard 20vt, does anybody recognize either of the cars below? Any help appreciated!

Hi Clark10,

I was gonna look at the Inky in Welwym Garden City in Feb. See my original post about it here

I see they've dropped the price to £3,295

If you note the original post, forum member jallen lives nearby and offered to view it for/with me. If you are unsure about coupe mechanicals maybe he could give you a hand inspecting it if you PM him.

Good luck with the search.

Thanks for replying, the coupe looks in good condition, but as said in the link, that dealer isn't a coupe specialist so I'm unsure.

If you have return flights, go have a look. You shoud get it for under £3k easily. If you booked a single flight... maybe not ;\)

You flying over from Ireland?

Single flight?

My mate did that betting on an A4 1.8T Quattro Sport. He ended up being stuck in Liverpool airport for over 20 hours waiting for a (very expensive) flight back, because the "mint" car was a shed.

I wouldn't recommend booking a single flight ever because when you get there and if the car ain't 100% right, you'll be tempted to take it anyway because otherwise you'd be stuck.

Believe me when I say I've been to the UK more than once to look at "mint" coupes. I've always flown home, not driven home, though that's soon to change.... ;\)

I could go and see the Ink Black one on Friday or Monday but not tomorrow as I am having to work late.

That's a really decent thing to offer to do, I appreciate it. Doesn't look like I'll go to London tomorrow now, I think I might just wait to get a mint members car from here.
