i brought my current 16vt in september last year for a bargin price from ebay 921 quid! from a mechanic. he had changed the cam belt and oil and filter. but the clutch was very hard and high. 88k on the clock . no history but all looks ok.

so ive had the clutch changed and oil and filter.
4 new tyres, other small bits new bonnet badge new mintex extreme pads, refurb callipers. de cat pipe as the cat was no good.

im putting another set of tyres on it on monday as the fronts have worn and the ride is too hard on 215/40/17.

and im going to change the wishbones as its a little twitchy on right bends.

had battery and alternator tested all ok.

ive washed, it t-cut, wonder wheels, hoover the lot and it looks mint appart from a scratch the full length of one side. and the drivers door has been respayed and its slightly off colour but not bad at all.

very few stone chips looks like its done half the miles it has! currently on 99.5k.

no smoke pulls hard no problems at all great oil pressure

i spend more time on it fettleing it more than the mrs \:o \:D

cloth and no air con.

what do you think? whats it woth and should i sell it and go for a 20vt just for more power and air con? oh and leather?

i cant help but think better the devil i know even though no history but i can try and track down former keepers.

bit of a big job to put air con in and costly am i right carl?

chip it for the extra speed equal/ more than a 20vt.

other bad thing is the motion lotion it drinks 18 to the gallon driving normal odd blast . 11 to the gallon booting it \:o

opions please

Worth as much as someone is prepared to pay \:\) £1500 sounds a decent starting price but be prepared to drop or wait as 16vt's take longer to shift
