Well i have had some of the best days with you guys but now its time to try my hand down under.
So this will be my last meet.
It went really well last year,we had a turnout of 16 coupes.However i broke the bravo having some fun on the 42 and we had to cut the pizza short..
In fact we bought the 42 to a halt with 16 coupes in the bottom lane behind my bravo
We meet at the Donnington park grand prix museum followed by some piccys..They a gentle stroll to the airplane graveyard followed by a 13 mile run to pizza hut.
Some great piccys and lots of fun to be had.
Hope to see alot of you fccukers there.

Sorry mate but im a shadow of my former self.Was 17.5 stone last year and now im down to 13.12.....Even had to buy myself some new threads that would fit.

Well Elder i can assure you i am very nice.In fact im too nice thats why i get shit on all the time.But nice guys finish last.

Steve i started off the meets with my car in bits.We all respect that because you see the progress every time you meet.
So did Ash_p.
In fact i had all my wiring exposed under the bonnet for the first few meets and then half the interior in bits whilst i was installing the aquamist and traction control.
Trick is to buy yourself some window tints.then no fccuker can see the mess.

Anyone who fancies a beer after the meet then let me know as theres a real nice pub just down the road from Pizza hut.
Also a bit nearer to the time let me know who is going and i will book a table for the snap

i'll try tints then! How do i hide the key marks? i'll not wash it lol.

erm...well my brains are only small.So im sure someone will have a internet phone.Then we will be able to answer any questions.
I had a key scratch down my car and a friend of mine sprayes it.He is one of those chips away guys but he isnt crap.
Cost me 100 quid for the rear 1/4 the drivers door and the rear bumper.
Took him 3 hours.And i didnt mind spending the money to get it right.God knows there was no expense spared on that.
Is yours a 20vt or a piddly 16vt

its a 20vt. i was regretting it as we put the engine in, but i'm very happy with it now. it turns heads i'll say that!! although i did think about a 16vt with the 4x4 running gear from a lancia delta... maybe next time ha ha

yeah i thought about that too.but old fashioned technology unfortunately made my mind up for me.I have rebuilt loads of 16vt lumps and there shyte.Shims and lots of pipes.
Much easier to work on the 20vt imo.Or much nicer anyway.

Lol, i think i am the only one on fccuk that knows why you want hamerite and seen what you have done with it.

Takes abit of getting used too after a diesel as it keeps pulling until you change, and you going at corners alot faster too.

I broke it because i used a bloody French turbo hose off of a 406 hdi and it split.
SO luckily JamiePM got me out the sh17 for the track day and built me some nice metal ones.
Take a look underneath mate.There must be 8 jubilee clips on that pipe now.Theres no way its coming off again.

Oh i've seen all them... even went and checked them all!!


I thought it must have been fairly important to have a WHOLE box of jubilee attached to them :-)

realistically youll be running about 260 bhp mate and i would be willing to bet a small wager on that.

Going from a 150bhp JTD down to a 105bhp Mk5 golf.. the bravo scares the $#!t outta me!!!

The golf is useless!! 105bhp in a very heavy car... kates 1.4tdi 3cylinder is quicker!!!!

I had a nice drive back filling my face with my pizza.
Only got back 15 mins ago.

I got back at 8.15, so exactly 2 hours to get home Weather was actually dry when I got back, so must have brought it to the Midlands and left it there

Sat nav brought me home a different way, so at least I avoided the toll, but got caught up in traffic queues, due to a car being on fire Wasn't a Coupe though

Was nice to meet new faces and Paul, it was a pleasure to give you the rollies Can't bear to see anyone struggling to make them by hand, when I usually have at least 50 with me, ready rolled

Was good to meet some new guys - sorry I couldn't come for pizza, I had to be back home by 5 and it was about a 2 hour drive for me too and by the time we had our 'diversion' to MaccieDs and Halfords it was gone 2.30

There must have been some sort of Cosworth meet in the area (maybe that track day) as going back down the A42/M42 I was overtaken by at least 10 Sapphires, Escorts and RS Cossies, nose to tail.
