There's one at Ampfield, between Romsey and Winchester. Can't remember his name at the moment, but a mate of mine has used him a few times, so I could get it if you want it . Phil

I've just Googled that address and came up with this. Are they the people you're talking about Phil? I guess if your mate used them a few times he got on well with them? If you interested I'll give them a call and see if we could get a reduction in price if we get our wheel done together? Could put a post in the Group Buy forum and see if anyone else would be interested.

That's the place ! My mate used them for some Evo 6 wheels and was very happy with the finish that he got. He paid £40 a wheel, but that was a few years ago, so it may well be more than that now. I'll be interested to see what price you can get, and if he'll do a discount for a group buy, as my road tyres are nearing the end of their life, so I could be up for a proper refurb of them in the next couple of months . Phil

i have phoned the guy at this company and it's £55 a wheel, he said he would give trade discount to us if we bring in 2 sets which takes it down to £50 per wheel. takes 4 days and include un fitting and re fitting of tyres. he also says he only has space for two cars so if a few people intrested could take a while to get booked in.

Just bouncing this back to the top to see if anyone is interested in taking up this offer? I have just purchased yet another set of alloys , and plan to get them refurbed professionally this time, so may as well use this guy . The alloys are off the car, so it would be easy to combine with another owner who wanted to drop theirs in. Anyone who wants to combine, please drop me a PM and we'll see what we can arrange. Phil

OK, no takers then . I've contacted them to get a price to refurb my newly acquired third set of rims , so will see what they quote. I have also offered to administer a group buy for them, if they are interested in offering us a general discount . Phil

They are a bit north of Southampton, but I could possibly drop a set off for you Si, if you bring them along to the SE meet . They are only a few miles from me, and it would save you the trip down. I'll PM you when I get a quote back. Are yours bare rims, or do they have tyres fitted? Phil

North of Southampton just makes it easier! My spare set of rims with Cr&p tyres on them stored in my folks garage (they live 20 mins from Southampton - northwards!)The tyres can be scrapped. I'm sure my brother would be able to drop them down there for me. The only issue Would be that I'd have to swap the F1's from the rims that are actually on my car afterwards. Would it be cheaper if I gave them the set on my car at the moment and made do with crap tyres for a week...
Just Texted you BTW!

Thanks for all your efforts Phil, it really is appreciated. Can't afford to have my wheels done at the moment, but I have still replied to your group buy thread, as I might be able to afford it later on in the year. Thanks again, Gary.
