Hi All,

I haven't been around for a few years now, and I've finished paying for my 20VT so I'm thinking of moving on. As I've been out of touch for so long I have no idea of current values. So if I could get some pointers I'd appreciate it.

The car;

20VT Sprint Blue 1998 (R), no air con or leather. 72000miles
debadged and smoothed bonnet and rear.
colour coded sills all round.
lowered on Eibach springs and adjustable Koni dampers
Red Dot 40 groove disc all round with Red Dot fast road pads and Goodrich braided hoses.
K&N cone air filter
Bailey DV30 dump valve
Dastek Uni-chip with boost module
Owen Developments hybrid turbo;
360deg bearings
larger compressor wheel
larger compressor housing
1 bar waste gate
Stealth System custom 3" (from turbo back) stainless steel exhaust with 100 cell racing CAT

On the last rolling road day I went to (3 years ago) it ran 270bhp and 270lb/ft on 1 bar max.

It has a few scratches and a dent in the "nose" of the bonnet, and the wheels are quite scuffed. It has been crashed once (on a forum meet) where it had the front valence and bonnet replaced.

No , very hopeful,
i just could not shift mine when i was trying to sell it, same year , similar mileage but with air con and leather, in the end i let it go for well under 3 grand as i was in a hurry to sell , but if you are not , then obviuosly hold out for the best possible price .

I'd say £4k was very achievable. Although the lack of leather and AC will def go against it, there are such a large number of coops for sale at the mo, buyers can really take their pick from a very large quantity.

I'd start at £4,100 or 4,200 and see what happens, I would also get the wheels refurbed and any blemishes sorted out. Spend about 300 or 400 getting it right, make it stand out from the other cars

4K isn't "hopeful" it's had some fairly hefty modifications and I've seen cars with less spec on auto trader for 4.5K. you just stick it up for what you think it's worth and if you get no joy you reduce the price accordingly.

Coopless!
