Gathering interest for this years Tatton Park event

Taking place on Saturday the 1st June 2013 and Sunday 2nd June 2013.

Entry is free for cars entered onto the stand and I will require names and registration numbers.

You can come to the Tatton show in August, it's the 17th and 18th August, so you won't have the kids that weekend

I might if it's when i have them during summer holiday, but otherwise i will come to that - in fact i'll come anyway and bring the kids

By all means come along Tom, but I'm afraid you won't be able to display your car on the stand.
The deadline was over 2 weeks ago and I now have the tickets in hand for those that said they were attending and have given me their names and registration numbers.
I've said many times before that I have to apply for space for this Club to display their cars months in advance and have to submit the entry form at least a month before the event.
All tickets are issued for the registration numbers I submit, so I'm afraid they wouldn't let you through without a ticket. Sorry.

T - thanks for organising it, and for sorting better weather than last year ... Although I have mega sunglasses tan marks on my face now!

Been to Tatton and it was a great day with so much to see and also massive, bought £50 worth of tools and the same if not more on burgers.

I've just sat in a que far an hour, turned round and came home.

I think the weather last year may have put a few people off attending this year, but there was around 2500 cars on display.

I hope there are a few more Coupes today.

Thanks John, but after yesterdays drive over the Snake pass in the sunshine, I doubt the X19 will ever be for sale!

The que was quite bad yesterday, with so many older cars risking overheating, I thought they ought to open another gate. They recognised the problem yesterday, although there was an accident outside the main entrance gate which they appologised for.
Did you get word as to what had caused the problem today?

Not a clue. I went past a few abandoned 80s cars though.

Not sure what was going on today, as when I was heading home, there were some tailbacks on the other side, which started from before the turn off to Tatton and looked like they were heading towards Manchester Airport.

Getting into Tatton yesterday and this morning was lengthier than usual for exhibitors cars, due to them not having the second gate open as usual

Not sure what the delay was when you tried Bilbo?

Was a warmer day today, so have caught even more sun than yesterday

Was a very enjoyable day on Sunday at Tatton.

Thanks to T for arranging it, shame there were only 2 coupes and my little 'Sud.

There were some very nice cars, the sun shone, we had beers and chilled & now I look like a Panda.

And we met many real enthusiasts on the day - welcome to the forum Ian75 - looking forward to seeing your Alfa 75 soon !

I know, I saw it on Saturday, but didn't take a photo and then overtook it on the motorway, on the way to the services on Sunday, but didn't see it at the show on Sunday, so forgot to take a photo.

Mine was a B reg like that one too and are hard to find due to them being the very last of the Mk 1's

This is why I'll never get rid of my Coupe, as I'll always regret it, in the same way I regret getting rid of my GTE's (although my Mk1 was a death trap lol)
