3k im happy with, still i think i will insure her for 4k to cover my touble of losing the car (if it ever happened.)

On 2nd thoughts, I reckon £3k is probably bang on the money, because of the respray.

Narrowly avoiding going a bit chuck norris on the inky as can't get the locking wheels nuts off even with the key! Been a bad week, and now the extra power is free my clutch isn't too happy in 4th and 5th ;-(

Oh, Marco the car is worth what people are willing to pay, and given it's condition and spec after the respray, there won't be much similar to compare it with, and in my eyes that makes it more than worth £3.5k.

If its an agreed value and you have recipts to support that value then I would stick a value of at least 3k on it

i second that , insurance companys will all ways want to pay out as little as possible, and with there being loads of cheap coupes out there it will make it harder to get back what the cars really worth ,when i crashed my prelude it toke me ages to get a decent amount back , i had to send them proof my car was above average because id welded up the rear aches and got the car runing mint ect ,so im definatly gonna go for an agreed value once my coupes restored

me to always go for agreed value on the coupe other wise they will pay rock bottom when something goes wrong.

i think it will be worth 3k after the spray but you will get knocked down when selling mate

i agree the alfa's a good car - but you WILL regret it if you sell it. then you'll want another and the work you've done on yours will be wasted. you're not far off having a stunning, high spec car, if i were you i'd stick with it
