Certainly looks like a plus, I'm assuming (until I hear back from the seller) the silver brembos are the new brembos the cars had fitted recently. Everything else looks like a plus.

Anyone know it?

the advert says its a 20vt 6, not a plus - hence the silver brembos

Everything else points to a plus though, skirts, lips, red stitching, engine shots apart?

But it does have the Plus interior????

i'd imagine if it was a plus it'd be advertised as such though, as otherwise he's sacroficing money from the top of the range model. makes no sense

Could have had an interior from another car, ask for the VIN if you want a definate answer or else ask if its got a strutbrace, cargo nets etc.

Was the Plus model ever made in red?

That's why I asked if someone knew it? A 61k example that would appear to be well looked after, I suspect by a non fccuk member (and so less fanatical!) who may not know what variant it is?

Best to call the seller and ask him exactly what it says on the log book.

The log book is not a good indicator of the model, yes plus models came in red (look in the buyers guide for ranges of colours), vin entered into eper is more accurate.

back seats dont match the front, looks like plus front seats and bits around gear. Looks very much a late '6' not a plus.

AFAIK there was no plus in red. Also this one is a CAT D recorded...just tread carefully..

I assume it must be the plus model (but I must confess that I don't know!). As I understand it the plus model came after the LE model and featured the side skirts and 6 speed box as were first featured on the LE model.
When I got the car it had red calipers but they were were pretty tired and it didn't seem financially ecconomic to recondition them, hence the brand new replacements Brembos. The specialist could only get hold of silver ones however.

I like the idea of a plus in red, particularly given the features of the plus ought to best match red, calipers, red stitching etc. Although fiat not known for having the most logical approach!

Didn't think the rear seats had the red stitching similar to the front on the plus? But doesn't explain the non plus alloys.

Will ask for the vin. Being cat D as well will tread very carefully.

PLUS models have red stitching both front and rear.

It could be a 6 that someone has added side skirts to it and got a set of front seats as well, the rear seats are bogo standard 20vt rear seats in a plus (they just have red stitching on them.

Just be aware of what you buying.

Suprised they chose to buy new brembos when a paint and service kit would have worked just as well.

Looks like a Plus to me

Have a look again at the rear seat - definitely has red stitching, as does the wheel and gear knob and of course the front seats.

Ask if it has a strut brace.

Yeah you're right, if you enlarge the picture of the back seats you can clearly see the red stitching in the middle of the seats.

Yep, all points to a plus. Have asked about the strut brace, and for the vin!

Yes you guys are correct. After a closer look the back seats do have red stitching..it would be a lot of effort to put all seats and gear/handrake trim to sell as a plus, if it wasnt..

Strutbrace and wheels need to be verified.

Maybe the CatD ruined the alloys and brake calipers, so all were changed.

You really need to know what sort of accident it was involved in and who repaired it, to what standard..

You need a specialist to go over it..you dont want 2 welded plus's..

Vin is ZFA175000P0068485. Not on the fiat eper parts site. Sugarbear any idea where else I can check this?

Red rocker cover and sparco brace both on it. Looks like a plus. The VIN will confirm it if I can find anywhere to verify it!!

The brake calipers were changed not as a result of the CatD, but because the old set were beyond economical repair. I do doubt the 'specialist' he has been using! I suspect the car may have had aftermarket alloys which were sold before the previous owner sold the car, so were put back to standard. Standard 20vt, not plus

The guy at Woodcock car sales (specialist) is called Alan.

They are not specifically Coupe specialists, but i believe they have sold and worked on a few over the years.

Ive been called a few times by them for 'technical support' and i think they are a genuine bunch of chaps who have a good level of knowledge.

Plus models do come on red as Jurgen said. Quite rare though, ive seen more yellow plus models than red.

I like the red, not seen many plusses in red (seen waaaaaaaay more vinci grey le's!), it roars Italian sports car, and the plus' extras best colour match too... hmmm what to do!
