Looks honest enough, spookily enough, the dents in the bonnet are exactly the same as mine!

Got to be worth a look, 1 owner from new is a rare thing and there is a high chance that the mileage is genuine. Could be a steal, I'll watch this with interest!

Got the same peeling rocker as mine.
Got good feedback,sketchy description.
Don't recognise it but difficult without the plate.
Might be worth a cheeky bid.
Rain doesnt help in the pictures.

How bad can it be, cant be any worse than mine to be fair! I'd take a punt if I wanted another coop gathering dust on my drive, I could probably make a good one out of that and mine combined!

I'd love to know how he dented the bonnet though, it is actually identical to the damage on the front of mine!

I noticed this and have sent the bloke a few questions

Scorpion...did you have a hcance to take it for a spin?

Is it just bodywork and wheels that need sorting (and front seats)

I think this le will go for big money, as owners and mileage goes Id spend money on a respray, alloys and a retrim on these seats, it's rare to see a black one

I'm trying to get an idea of how much he will sell for, but he's being a bit cagey.......it was services by PowerItalia in the later part of 2008 and apparently oil pressure is good. I wonder if anyone from PowerItalia remembers it??

they'll have records there, but whether they are prepared to divulge the info may be a different matter. you're going to have to take a risk one of these days, there are no guarantees with 10yr old cars

Would be nice for someone on here to take it on, shame the interior is "mashed" (I'm guessing thats a youth type word for knackered?)

If the seats are in need of a lot of work, and it really needs a large amount of bodywork, he shouldn't be expecting 3k for it, I'd go in at just over 2k and meet in the middle somewhere, although even then, it's still a little steep, but it is 1 owner, low mileage blah blah blah.

With a reserve of £1500 and quite a bit of work needed I was hoping he would be looking at around £2k. Everyone is always banging on about how mileage doesn't matter if its been looked after....this one obviously hasn't been looked after properly

i was going to buy it but got into a bidding war with a guy from kent that apparently works for fiat..at one point i could have had the car 2300 if the guy was not already on his way when he got there i told the owner i would go a little more he said he would let me have it if the guy did not want it ..he then rang to tell me i had censored out as he had said he would pay 3k and thats it gone!.if only i had spotted it yesterday i am positive i could have owned it for less that 2.5k...one owner 50k woulld have been a good buy

I wouldn't worry, once you factor in the need to change the cambelt and fix the bonnet its not such a bargain.

3k for a 50k LE is a good price. Even if it needs £1k spent on it, it will then be a 50k LE that needs nothing for £4000.

Bargain.

Yep, to be fair, they are worth what you are prepared to pay these days. I've watched a few go through for quite high money recently as well as some good ones going through for peanuts, Prices have definitely firmed up though.

I dont think 3K is expensive for what you would end up with after spending another 1k ish.

I would have paid it (except i just do not like the black/leather interiors on the LE).

if it was just a grands worth of work then your probably right, but from what scorpion was saying it seemed that it would take a fair bit more than a grand to get it to a good standard.
That's assuming you don't find anything else that needs sorting on closer inspection

That one was out of my price range I'm afraid.....my absolute limit is £3k and I would rather not have any big jobs to do after spending that much money...........an LE for this budget is a bit of a stretch I know, but I can dream smile

I have provisionally agreed to buy a car (Hence the reason in my excitement I have stuck a logo on my profile, but I have found out that I am going to have to wait another 2 weeks, so my impatience is starting to push me to other coops for sale
